Agro Innovation and Technology for Rural Areas Initiative (Agro Intec.) is a NGO based association in Nigeria established purposely to alleviate poverty by empowering Nigerian youths, women, farming communities, smallholders, improving peoples’ livelihood and developing rural areas through innovative agriculture and technology, aiming to achieve food security for nations.
Strategically building peoples’ capacities to cultivate plants for food, produce animal foodstuffs, and foods for commercial uses; Such as food crops, feed crops, fiber crops, oil crops, ornament crops, industrial crops and economic trees. Also livestock farming and fisheries: production or breeding and caring for farm animals, birds and fisheries for both local use and export. Organizing and encouraging Nigerian youths, women, farming communities and smallholders to farm enough for sufficient food production for Nigerians and people of other countries to sustain human nutrient globally (food security).
Supporting the youths, women, farming communities and smallholders to establish and own “innovated farms” in rural areas across local government areas in Nigeria. And organize training for farmers on modern mechanical farming and technology, to encourage and promote among Farmers sufficient production of crops, animals, food and water for local use and export. Focusing to support the youths, women, farming communities and smallholders by creating wealth and jobs for them to put more efforts in modern agriculture to provide food for mankind.

Vision:
We are determined to improve the livelihood of people, reduce unemployment by creating wealth and jobs, alleviate poverty, hunger, and malnutrition, relief mankind of suffering through innovative agriculture and technology to make farming easy to attract young people to put more efforts into agriculture, post-harvest and agro industry. Training and encouraging the youths, women, farming communities and smallholders on modern mechanical farming and technology.

Mission:
Agro Innovation and Technology for Rural Areas Initiative is totally committed to youths and women capacity building, rural communities’ development and completely focused;

1. To promotes and advocates for sustainable agricultural practice that conserve natural resources, reduce environmental impact and enhance the resilience of farming communities.
2. To conduct workshops, training programs, and awareness campaigns to educate farmers about modern agricultural techniques, innovative technologies, and best practices.
3. To empower and support women in agriculture by providing them with equal access to resources, training, and opportunities in decision – making process.
4. To encourage the adoption of organic farming methods, aiming for healthier produce, reduced chemical use, and environmental sustainability. Conservation of biodiversity: to protect and promote the conservation of local plant and animal biodiversity in agricultural landscapes.
5. To contribute to food security and improved nutrition by supporting small – scale farmers, promoting diversified and resilient food systems, and reducing post – harvest losses.
6. To work towards the economic and social development of rural areas by providing training, resources and support to farmers, particularly smallholders to improve their livelihoods and alleviate poverty.
7. Focused in agribusiness and agro-allied industry to actualize the vision and mission of this NGO. And acquire agricultural inputs, equipment, tool, implement, and machineries, to support farmers especially the “innovative farmers”.
